The scarves are woven on a rigid heddle loom using custom made heddles (LASSE). The patterns, mutated from traditional Swedish dräll patterns, are designed/generated with software written by the artist. One section of scarf 1 is a visualization of a part of the artist's Mitochondrial DNA.
